Good Morning (((((Jackie))))
So nice to see you on the boards sharing! My name is
Cherie and I am a grateful member of Al-Anon-Nar-Anon
and also qualify for ACOA.
I have always heard that face to face meetings are the best
way to go when starting the road to recovery. But, I am
living proof that on-line recovery works, I have never been
to a f2f meeting. I don't recommend to others, but it's
given me a brand new life.
I know nothing about "committee meetings" and the only
"seasoned Al-anon members I know are here at Essence of
Recovery and I find them to be loving and caring in every way.
I have about the same amount of "recovery time" as you have
and I find most days are filled with serenity. I do have bad
days, but for the most part, it's bad moments in a day, but I
have a loving "Higher Power" whom I call God and HE handles
all the BIG problems and small as well. I just have to ask for
HIS help.....
I love the saying: "Keep it Simple"
When I feel a lot of stress and chaos around me I am reminded
to take a time out and quit over-thinking things. My mind can
be a terrible weapon!
I know nothing about "Cranio Scaral therapy" but did find a link:
www.healthynewage.com/cranial.htmlRead just a little on this subject, but I then went back and
read my favorite saying "Keep it Simple" and this theraphy
is the best for me.
I wish you peace on the journey..... SunnyGirl
