A is for Acceptance. Acceptance of what is in the moment. Accepting where I am at in the moment. Accepting and giving thanks for the new awareness and gifts I have been given in recovery, the gift of one addict/alcoholic sharing with another. Attachments:

H is for Help. It is okay to ask for help. This is a 'we' program. There is no such think as a stupid question. It can't be stupid if you don't know. Even if I don't know, I have a willingness to find out and using the resource of the program and outside help. Attachments:

P is for Pessimist. I need to let go of the fear of rejection, abandonment, love and expecting the worst scenario to happen and change it into a positive. I must remember that my God is always present and there to see me through all that comes my way. Attachments:

Q is for Quiet. I need to quiet my mind and body. Take a time out and just be alone with me. It was really hard for me to learn to just sit with no music, no TV, no person, no computer, no book, no going to bed and hiding, and just 'be' and be comfortable with it. There are times I can't do long periods of it, but it is another one of those tools of recovery that need practice, practice, practice. Attachments:
