U is for Understanding. I don't have to understand you. You don't have to understand me. I don't have to understand your God. You don't have to understand my God.

What I need to do is understand myself through understanding my God. Through that understanding, I can draw on strength, courage, direction, and personal empowerment to live one day at a time.

The Eagle is my spiritual totem.

The Eagle teaches you to look higher and to love the shadows as well as he light. The eagle give you permission to legalize freedom and to follow the joy your heart desires. - Jamie Sams

V is for: Vulnerability

W is for Will. Not self will run riot. Not saying, "Won't instead of I will. It means to be willing to turn things over to my Higher Power and willing to go to any length to stay clean and sober in today.

No more willfullness, no more wanting to do things my way, but willing to align my will with my God's.
