B is for Beautiful. When I got clean and sober, I was able to enjoy the beauty around me. I became aware and could appreciate things that I had taken for granted and had passed over without even seeing them. Attachments:

C is for Care. Caring for others, getting out of self and being able to be there for others. It isn't all about me, it isn't always about the alcoholic, it is about seeing beyond the disease and seeing the person for who they are. Practicing self-care, and yet extending that love to others and not keeping it to oneself. Attachments:

M is for Memory. Remember the good times as well as the bad times. I don't ever want to forget the 'remember whens' of when I was using. I don't want to forget the 'remember whens' of early recovery.
