Sometimes it is difficult to take in a whole lot of words. When we keep it simple, some times a few words can take us a long way. The slogans were mini-steps for me. I had to learn to take the words and apply them to my life. Instead of looking at what I didn't do, I needed to identify with the feelings and look at what I did do. If I am not an addict, what am I? If I am not an alcoholic, what am I? Attachments:

I found this quote from one of your links and it sum's up my feelings today....
"I looked for God all over. And that's where I found him; All over. - - Phil P.
In the first two steps we learned that "we can't" and "God can". ... Think I'll let HIM!
Hugs, SG

Thank you for sharing. Hopefully other will share what speaks to them. My favorite was:
As I gently pull back each layer that has been blocking me from being the best of who I am, I dare look a bit further and then a bit further yet. I know that I am not alone on this path and God is guiding me every inch of the way.
