My name is Mikef, I am a member of Naranon in poughkeepsie new york.I have just passed 3 years in program.I am an addict in recovery since december 2nd 1984.I am an active member of Narcotics Anonymous.I just celebrated 25 years free and clean of all mind altering mood changing substances only thru the grace of God and the rooms of NA.My qualifier for Naranon is my 23 year old son,an IV heroin user,finally in recovery.I'll talk to you on the rebound..peace  |

Welcome home my friend, we've been waiting for you....
I am a grateful member of Naranon/Alanon/ACOA for
8 years.... My qualifiers are my daughter (IV-meth)
a sister (pain meds-etc-etc) and my son (alcoholic).
I live in Las Vegas and have been a member here at
Essence of Recovery since they opened the doors.....
Wednesday nights we have an on-line meeting, it's an
open meeting with all 12-step groups invited. It's not
a large group, anywhere from 4 to 8 but lots of good
ESH.
Glad you found us and I am looking forward to hearing
from you.... Keep the faith!

Welcome Mike. So happy for you on your recovery and for your son's recovery too. My son just went into treatment and has four months. Hope is a wonderful thing!

Hi Mike and welcome to EOR1 I am alanon/acoa and naranon for over 17 years now. My anniversary was March 5th. A big congrats on your 25 years cleana nd sober! Way to go!
We have a wonderful OPEN meeting on Wednesday evening. It's at 8 eastern. Perhaps you'll check out the chatroom some Wed. and join us???
