C is for Choice. I am granted freedom of choice. I can choose what is best for me. I can choose to hang onto resentment or let them go. I can choose whether i react or hesitate and meditate and act for the highest good. I can choose how I react to my feelings. In the moment, I am thinking of choosing to go back to bed.

F is for Feelings. I must feel the feelings in order to let them go. Just because I have a feeling, doesn't mean I have to act on it. I can hesitate and meditate and make a decision, hopefully without actng out in my disease and frustration. Attachments:

K is for Kit! What do you have in your kit in regard to recovery tools. Do you use all the tools or only one or two and ignore the rest. Keep coming back. Keep picking up the phone. Keep reading literature. Keep going to meetings. Keep a conscious contact with your Higher Power. Keep journalling or writing out your feelings. Keep sharing - we are only as sick as our secrets. M is for Me. I must remember to take care of me. I must top myself up and only give away the overflow. I do no one any good, least of all me, if I am operating on empty and living on fumes. It doesn't give much credance to my words. Attachments:

Q is for Quaint. The program and the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous has been around for 75 years. It may seem old fashioned but the story told still works in today. Quit drinking and druging, one day at a time, and with the program laid out there, you too can have a life of sobriety.
