Hows everyone doing!Things going well for our family My qualifier,Eric, is doing well.In the process of getting public assistance and moving out to his own apartment soon.We have put our home on the market ,got an offer we accepted and waiting now for a closing.We have been here for around 23 years and its time to go.We want to pay off all our debt and possibly move south in a year or so.I have been praying about leaving my job after 31 years but we are stepping out on faith and when we have paid off all our debt I may look at early Social Security and a banana job or just see how it goes.Wife wants to be by her parents in Florida,were in upstate New York now.My 22 year old daughter and her husband also want to move to Florida next year so they may pave the way for us.We are out looking for a place to stay for next year or so,Not sure if We can do apartment living after so many years of owning but God will guide our steps we are sure of that.Hope everyone is well.I have been very busy and active with my process,once a week at Naranon and a homegroup in Narcotics Anonymous,meetings,a Saturday commitment with my 'Men do Recover: group of NA so that keeps me remaining in focus but I am also concentrating on "recovery at home" making sure Im not leaving my family out on the tiles,you know addicts can tend to be a little self-centered:)) Anyway I'll check back in on the rebound,Stay strong,keep focus on your HP ,its what has allowed us sanity back in our lives.Peace mikef

Hi Mike....

Welcome back and I'm glad to hear Eric is doing well. I
went through much of this with my daughter, she is doing
so well today.

Changes are always a Big Deal, but when we pray and wait
for the answer, the changes are almost always for the best.
Can see your wife wanting to be near her folks and if the
daughter makes the move as well .....

If "Recovery at Home" isn't a group, it ought to be.... Keeping
our homes happy and filled with gratitude is always a bonus.
I have always been family centered, so involving my family in
my recovery has been an excellent part in my recovery. When
ever I am in doubt of what to do, I pray and wait for the answer.
Being in transition is just another form of, "more will be revealed"!

Thanks for sharing Mike and keeping us up-to-date. Glad to hear all is well with you and yours.

I am a firm believer that things will be revealed when the time is right. As they say, doors may close but a window may open which will give new light, which in turn will take you to another door that you never saw before or is just now become available.
