Hello everyone! I have an addiction to opiods, and chocolate. But my newly found addiction is to stealing. I was recently diagnosed cleptomaniac. Anyone else have similarities they would like to express?

Welcome Patti, glad to have a new member and one who is willing to share. Responded to your other post. Not sure what I found is helpful, but feel free to ask any questions you don't understand. Being diabetic, type 2, I can not have chocolate. A kid was selling them outside my grocery store. I couldn't say no to him. Thanks to this program, I took them to my bridge club to share with others, it wasn't safe alone with me. Attachments:

Hello everyone! I have an addiction to opiods, and chocolate. But my newly found addiction is to stealing. I was recently diagnosed cleptomaniac. Anyone else have similarities they would like to express? Mornin Patti I found the link below: Trigger Foods and Opioids www.nutramed.com/eatingdisorders/addictivefoods.htmThis prayer is based on a section of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous: Thank you for keeping me straight yesterday. Please help me stay straight today. For the next twenty-four hours, I pray for knowledge of Your will for me only, and the power to carry that through. Please free my thinking of self-will, self-seeking, dishonesty, and wrong motives.Send me the right thought, word, or action. Show me what my next step should be. In times of doubt and indecision, please send Your inspiration and guidance. I ask that You might help me work through all my problems, to Your glory and honor. My self-will is what gets me into difficulties, when I am trying to follow what my Higher Power would have me do I find life is so much simpler. I can only work on my addiction by committing to to give it my all, one day at a time and with His help I will do it. So glad you reached out and please, keep coming back! Your friend in recovery, SunnyGirl
