R is for: Ruts
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our Ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers". - - M. Scott Peck

S is for Serenity. Something I hadn't experienced very often in my life. When I had the feeling, I was unable to recognize it for what it was. I phoned my sponsor and said I felt strange.

T is for Think. I think you responded to the first page and didn't notice there was a second. When I think of the word "Think" I am reminded of the saying, "You know what thought did." It brought me to the doors of recovery. My best thinking got me here, so I had to be open to change and learn a new way of looking at me and at life. It was my stinking thinking behind the drinking and drugging that qualified me for the rooms of recovery. Attachments:

X is for 'xtemporaneous! I no longer have to react on the spur of the moment. I can pause and allow myself to 'think' and then act. I don't have to just blurt out words without reason or thought.

Z is for Zion. Praise the God of your understanding for a second chance at life. Put some gratitude into your attitude. www.scriptureandmusic.com/Music/Text_Files/We_re_Marching_To_Zion.htmlToday, Mount Zion refers to a hill south of the Old City's Armenian Quarter, not to the Temple Mount. This apparent misidentification dates from the Middle Ages, when pilgrims mistook the relatively large, flat summit (the highest point in ancient Jerusalem) for the original site of the Jewish Temple.
