She called me today to say that she has to be home for VON at 1:30 p.m. for the next four days, which means no trip up north. I hope she listens to herself. Your prayers are appreciated.

Thank you for your prayers. I phoned her a couple of days ago and got her husband who informed me that she was at the local fair working and wouldn't be home until after 10:30 p.m. Either prayer worked or she is ignoring everything and not taking care of herself and leaving God out of the equation. I just pray that she doesn't lose a toe or a foot.
Your continued support is appreciated.

Just got word that my sister is back in the hospital. She has a red lump on the calf of her leg, so it looks like the infection is back even though she said it is only 2 weeks since she was off antibiotics. They are puzzled about the pain she has had in her rib area and her skin hurts to touch. I sounds like Polymyalgia, something I was diagnosed with many years ago when I was diagnosed with the Fibromyalgia. Your skin hurts to touch and it hurts to have clothes and bedding touch your body. She is like me and can't take arthritis medication. She is worse than me, she is allergic to just about everything. Your continued prayers would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. I talked to my sister tonight. She was sent home today and will be having home care. There will be a nurse come in every two days to change the bandages and she will be getting antibiotics fed to her interveniously.
They say they don't know if it is Osteomyolitis (not sure of the spelling), more tests are being done and she has to go to the hospital on Monday. A resident told her that she looked to healthy to be up walking the halls and occupying a bed.
She was in ICU for two months, and now she was back in for 6 days. Hospitals don't keep people in a hospital bed for two days as a rule, so hopefully they will find a solution soon.

Realized I hadn`t talked to my sisters for a few days when someone on Friday and again today asked about her. I phoned and her husband answered and he said she was sleeping. He said she is about the same and she still has the nurse coming to give her the intervenous and change her bandage.

My sister called me today. She is still getting visits from the public nurse. She said today that she didn't have any kids today and was going to try to put her feet up. She has a day care out of her home. It sounds like she is trying to practice some self care, which is good news to my ears. Your prayers are appreciated.

Got a couple of calls from my sister today to say that she was in the hospital. She informed me that she went in on Tuesday and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and has been on oxygen since. When she called me today, she said that she felt better today that she has in months. She will be kept in the hospital until she can breathe on her own without the oxygen. She called me back to say that she was told that once you were diagnosed with congestive heart failure, you never got rid of it. I sensed some fear in her. I told her that I was diagnosed with it over 10 years ago. I didn't say, and I am still kicking, because lately, I haven't been kicking too high. Your prayers for her would be appreciated. I told her that I would send her healing thoughts and prayers. I ask you to continue your support with love and understanding, it is one day at a time.

Went to see my sister this evening. She is going home tomorrow. She looked the best I've seen her in months. I got the sense that she had a certain amount of peace with in her. I showed in her eyes. Hope you will continue prayers for her.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. My sister had a procedure done yesterday, and they put a camera up a vein to check the stints in her heart. She is to go later and get a camera put down her throat to check out her stomach. Her toe is still not completely healed. Your prayers are appreciated.

My son called me this morning to say that he had talked to his uncle and my sister is back in the hospital. They didn't know what the problem was. I called later today and found out that she has an infection, they don't think it is her toe, but the don't know the source. I have a chiropractor's appointment tomorrow and plan to go to the hospital to see her. Your prayers would be appreciated.

Went to see my sister today. Her infection is in her blood, which I believe to be quite serious. They have put her on a new antibiotic. She has the same doctor as she had when she was in ICU before.
Thank you for your prayers.

Went to see her after a noon meeting today. She had a bad cough, and I didn't want to get close as she has a blood infection. They say when they can get the infection cleared up, they will do surgery on her gall bladder, which they think is the source for all her problems.
Your prayers are appreciated.

Didn't go up to see her as it was pouring rain. I haven't heard from anyone. I have my home group tomorrow. I will see how I feel when I get home. If the weather is clear, I will take a trip up the Hamilton mountain to see her. They call it a mountain, in comparison, it is a molehill. I big cliff that have road built up the side of it. Big enough to hurt if you fall off of it. It just isn't a mountain to me, my imagination doesn't stretch that far. Thank you for your prayers.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. I got a call from my sister about half an hour before I was due to get picked up by Darts. She was going to have a test at noon and be moved to another ward. I hope the new one is quieter. I would have gone insane if I had to be where she was before, just 2 2 noisy. She phoned while I was sleeping to give me her new ward number. They are also going to do further testing on the toe that hasn't healed properly and was her problem before. Your continued prayers are appreciated.

Didn't get out to see my sister as I was sick myelf. I phoned my brother-in-law today and he said that she had been having tests and they were doing some things with her blood. She called me at 4:30 p.m. to say that they were going to send her home when they get her stablized and then a nurse would go in to see her each day to give her antibiotics until they could get it corrected and then they will do the gall bladder operation.
Your continued prayers are appreciated.

My sister went home yesterday. Her husband picked her up about 2 p.m. yesterday. A nurse will be coming by daily to fix her antibiotics which she is getting fed interveniously. They have to get rid of the infection before they can operate to remove her gall bladder. She also has a bone infection in her toe, it has not completely healed since she was in ICU last fall.
Your continued prayers are appreciated.

My sister called me today. I realized she was telling me the same thing over again that she told me yesterday or earlier today, I am not sure. I knew I had heard what she was telling me before, but with my pain and the way my head has been, I wasn't sure.
Home Care didn't come until this afternoon instead of coming this morning. There was a miscommunication between Health Care, doctor, and hospital.
Your prayers are appreciated.

Talked to Lyn the other day and she sounded awful. She informed me that she has been to the doctor and she had chronic bronchitis. Please continue prayers for her. Not sure she has been completely healed from before.

Got a call from my sister today. She is in the hospital again. She phoned earlier in the week to say she had bronchitis and phoned tonight to say she was in the hospital and has been there since Thursday. She is bringing up blood, so it doesn't sound good. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Finally connected with my sister tonight. They found out that she has a blood clot in her lung, and they are checking further to see if she has more in her body. Continued prayers would be appreciated.
