Suppose to, I need to go back and edit the site and delete or tag them as posts that need to be deleted by Max. Sunnygirl use to be moderator. I am not too much of a tech person. It took me a long time to navigate the site and learn to copy and paste. I think some of it is because of my pictures, plus we have a lot of material on the site. A lot of things are no longer relevant.

Just for today, I will practice surrender to win. It is freezing rain, a lot of rain with snow and wind. I can't go out it is just too nasty. I have been trying to stay out of my bed and finish posting, but tired and going to give in as my eyes are slits trying to concentrate. I have a curling game on that I taped to help me stay awake. As they surrender to my Higher Power, and He/She in turn will empower me to do what ever I need to do for myself in today. My meditation card said, "Self Reliant." This reminds me that I need to do the do things and leave the rest up to my Higher Power. As I liked to say, "Why should I expect God to babysit me and be there for my every whim?" I need to do my part. I also need to be open to what He/She sends me and surrender to His Will for me in today.

Jeffrob (a member on this site) once said "God has my back" and that kinda goes along with what you are saying......

Happy Easter to you too! I watched the movie the 10 Commandments all the way thru for over 4 hours! My eyes were burning and into slits after that!!! What a powerful movie and it had great special effects for even as old as it was! The burning bush, the parting of the Red Sea, and the etching into stone of the 10 Commandments. I was just amazed!!! It definitely qualifies as a classic movie!!! I am up on a bathroom break and need to get back to bed for some more sleep. I am going to church for Easter this morning and then probably out to "brunch" after ward. I love the picture of the Easter Bunny! Thanks for posting it! Good Luck with the defrag/cookie clean up of this site. LOL It sounds like some "major spring cleaning"----Bunnypie

Just for today, I will remember the reason for the season. I try to remember to be grateful for the gifts my God gave to me as a result of this celebration.

I go to an non-denominational Christian Church. They have an excellent band and play modern Christian music. Today they had a horn section, 2 guitars, a drummer, and a key board player. They have choir of 9 people and a lead female & male singer. It was fantastic! There were probably 150 people up on their feet clapping and singing. The minister gave an excellent comparison of a father sacrificing for his son. It was comparable to Jesus sacrificing for his "children" The father was a Chicago gangster name "Fast Eddie" He squealed on Al Capone and got shot & killed. His son was a airplane flyer in WWII and got shot down saving some other flyers. He was only 29 years old. Chicago was so grateful to the son that they named an airport after him. O'Hare Airport was named after a son of a gangster! The father died trying to clean up his name so the son would not be ashamed of him. The son went on to be respectable and famous because of what his father has sacrificed!!! It was a real powerful msg. about sacrifice and a true story too!---Bunnypie

Not sure, I told him that I would go back and mark delete on old posts, but haven't done much. I know the pictures take up space. A lot of the old ones are gone.

Well if Max is aware of the problem then all we can do is hope for the best and cope with the rest......

Just for today, I will practice patience and tolerance. My Notebook or my server is slow and causing me problems and making it difficult to post. I have had to shut down a link and reopen it 3 times to do the posting I did today. I often type faster than the site prints my words and I have to wait for my server to catch up. Something wrong with that!!!

Just for today, I will accept what is. As soon as I find acceptance, things move forward and I don't stay stuck. I can't grow or move through issues until I can find that acceptance as it is in the moment, knowing it is subject to change.

Hey Jo----sometimes that is easier said then done! I went in for a routine mammogram and they called me back twice! Once for another mammogram and now they want to do an ultra sound! This could be serious sh*t!!!----Panic Stricken Bunnypie

Yes! your right. In this day and age there are lots of options. I have to Let Go & Let God. It is just my first instinct and or reaction is to panic!!! I felt okay until they started to stir up doubts and worries. There is an old saying "the more you stir sh*t the more it stinks!!-------Bunnypie

Just for today, I will focus on my own recovery. I will apply the slogan, "Let It Begin With Me," and live my own life and allow others to live theirs. For so many years, I lived my life through other people. That old BS saying, "I am happy if you are happy," doesn't cut it any more. I can't use people, places, and things. I am powerless and all I can change is me.

Hey JO---Let it begin with me is good as far as it goes. It has to begin with others sometimes too! Your acronym for Fear (frustrated emotional anxious resentful) is hitting me where I live. The hospital and my doctor are pushing me to get more tests done and not really saying if it is serious sh*t or not. I trust my doctor with my life and if he thinks it is necessary then I will do it reluctantly!!! I tried to make an appt. and was put on eternal hold and ended up just leaving a msg. Hurry Up & Wait just makes me freaking crazy!!!!!!------Ballistic Bunnypie
