that was a low blow mr. Duck about some being older. LOL Hope yesterday was a good day for you!
Some of us may be older on the calendar, but we may FEEL a whole lot younger. Some folks my age and younger look like they's been "rode hard and put away wet"...but not ME. I feel great! And lots of freinds say i LOOK GREAT!

My bellybutton birthday is: May 15, 1943 My AA Anniversary date is: July 14, 1981 My hubby's bellybutton birthday is: july 16, 1947 My hubbys AA anniversary May 15, 2003 Our wedding anniversary is: July 6, 1985 And i would like to wish happy anniversary/birthday to all the people that had the occasion and i missed it...i know this is belated, but i mean good wishes from my heart. love ya all, Dorrie

today is my recovery birthday. I was thinking it was 13 years, but I checked my calendar and it says 12. March 5th 2005...my 12 year alanon birthday.
What wonderful changes ahve happened to me during that time.

 Hello EOR members, As of 4/4/05, I've been off cigarettes 20 whole years. My long, lost sister, Arlyne Lucille, has been off alcohol since, 01/01/94...that's good, right? I quit drinking alcohol 05/20/93! U don't forget a thing like that!!! Blessing 2 everybody, Ciao, bonnierose333

My BB Birthday was April 1st. For many years I thought that was the reason I why I acted the way I did until I found out I was an alcoholic.
Clean and Sober date August 21, 1991.
Came into the Al-Anon family at the same time and then went to ACoA in 1992.
Quit smoking on December 21, 1998.
Getting so clean I am squeaky!!!

WOw..what a surprise for me. Today is my birthday. I expected to see it at the bottom of the page, but it listed two other people and not mine. I was at EOR from the first day it ooened. I was on the inside BEFORE it opened. I was certain I was on the birthday calendar. Oh well. I guess somehow it got purged.
I am having family over for dinner. I've been sick this week, but I'm feeling better. I just don't SOUND better.
And my birthday today is a milestone birthday. I turn 60 today. The cool part...iIdont FEEL 60, I don't ACT 60, , I don't DRESS 60, I don't LOOK 60, I don't drive a typical car for a 60 year old. SO life is good.

Congratulations Lin. Like every other age, 60 is just a number. The best year of mylife was when I was 57.

Happy Birthday Lin. Age is suppose to be only a number, and how u handle the outcome of the number by taking care of yourself health wise, mental wise, (and all the other stuff wise. hehe) So that is good you feel good an ddon't feel 60. My ALAnon birthday was yesterday. It was March 5...15 years ago. I had a day that was the pits. All areas of my life I seems to be getting in trouble or complaints. Hopefully today will go much bettter.
I thoguht I had posted it here on this site...a long time ago. But I don't see it, so I guess that was also lost.
15 years. That's a very long time. I know my recovery programs saved my marriage, my sanity and probably my life.
