I AM GRATEFUL FOR:
A is for Appreciation
Appreciation for what has passed. People, places, and spaces - Places contain our roots. People are memories. History, I don’t want to repeat it or make the same mistakes. I have to know the past for a clear future. The ability to deeply feel leads me to empathy and compassion.

I am grateful for Desire. God meets my needs but He has also given me my desires. Without a desire within, I loose the spirit and spark that gives me the drive to do each day.

F is for Fun. I have been given a new life to enjoy. When I live in the moment, I can find that joy of living, nurture that inner child, and learn to laugh at myself.

I am grateful for the Joy in my life.
The Joy of this time of year adds Joy to my heart. Watching the excitement of the Grandchildren, waiting for the big night brings a smile to my face. Doesn't seem that it could have been that many years since my own children were that age.....

S is for Simple. I am grateful for a simple life today. Don't pick up and live one day at a time. I can maintain my serenity so much more easily when I don't complicate my life.
