B is for BELIEVE...i had to BELIEVE there was a power greater than myself who could restore me to sanity. That was an aswesome beginning to my relationship with my HP.

G is for God. The God of my understanding is my friend, companion, confident, and so many more things that I don't have the time to list. His unconditional love and forgiveness strengthens and encourages me to find the goodness within me and spread it around.

M is for Memory. Slowly but surely, my memory has returned over the years. I remember what it was like when I was using. I remember what it was like in early recovery. I cherish the memories of my first spiritual awakenings and experiences.

Q is for Quit. Quit debating about how the program works or if it works. Just do the do things that are suggested, go to meetings, get a home group, get a sponsor, work the Steps, learn the Traditions and get active in service. It is a 24 hour a day program, not a 2-4 hour a day program.
The program doesn't quit when you leave a meeting.

S is for Safe. It is important to make my space sacred and to do that I need to make it safe. A safe place to put my 'stuff' and a safe place to recall my memories and share with others.

T is for TRADITIONS...those wondeerful 12 written rules that help our groups work together better.
My favorite tradition is number 5.
