C is for Care. It is important to take care of myself. The Caretaker in me often has me looking out at everyone else without taking the time to care for myself. I was told to top up myself and only give away the overflow. I was told to give myself what I so freely offered to others. Attachments:

E is for Everything! I had to look at everything in my life and ask myself if it was condusive to good recovery. When I came into recovery I was told that I had to change everything, do a 180 deg. turn on my outlook on life: my expectations, my excesses, and my excercising of judgment, etc. Attachments:

M is for: Mistakes
Today, I will let go of my fears about trusting myself because I have made Mistakes in the past. I understand that these fears
only serve to impair my judgment today. I will give my past, even my Mistakes, validity by accepting and being grateful for it all. I will strive to see what I've gained from my Mistakes. I will try to
look at all my good decisions too. I will keep a watchful eye for
improvement, for overall progress, in my life. - - by Melody Beattie

Just because you didn't do something, doesn't mean you won't do it in the future, especially if you stop working your program. Never, never stop talking to God. Never, never stop working the program. Never, never forget, it is One Day At A Time. Attachments:
