My days get turned around. Often my mornings are when other's have their day half over.
Today I stayed home from my Al-Anon meeting because I didn't want to pass any germs onto anyone else. I am grateful for the phone calls I get from recovery people, they are generally a spiritual boost that I need in the moment. I am grateful for the meeting tonight. It is there when I can't be at my home group. The site has been my home group for years.
Grateful for the newcomers who have joined the site. Keep coming back, I need you. I am grateful for all my recovery friends and especially Caressa and Marcie! The two of you "keep it real" in the AA and NA sections on the messageboard...... Hugs, SG |

My puter isn't over slow. I am. Just got back from my jaunt, Had to take a cab home because I ran out of energy.

I am here and accounted for...and praise be I got my insurance squared away so I can be back on the road again...No more cabin fever...More F2F meetings...I can get groceries...

Woke up to no sunshine again today. Have been on the computer for 3 hours already. Going to try to stay away from it for a while as my feet are like balloons.  |

Today is payday so got to take care of business..need to get the phone fixed and get some groceries so mother hubburd's cupburd ain't so bare and get my meds refilled...Last night the darm converter box went out on the TV..I don't watch a lot but I do enjoy some shows and when my head is running I do have to have the back ground noise..I could have thought of other things to do with that money tho ..That box was not that old...Oh well another resentment I gotta turn over 'cuz they railroaded that thru as law that it just had to be switched over so it was not something we had any control over...darn politaicins and special interest groups...yep theres that other resentment......Oh boy...more work to be done here

Feeling discouraged, read a book, watched tennis, went to cook supper and my oven is not working. I was going to broil a steak. Stuff happens! My steak has been marinating, hopefully it will be tender enough when I fry it. Have always wanted to use this pic but didn't think I would ever have a place. LOL. My steak will be well done, enough that it doesn't bite back. Attachments:
